When you pass a credit / Debit Card at a store, which manages the authentication?
Every time I pass Credit Card / debit in a shop, some of authentication works? How does the authentication? I also notice that the machine dials a number and reading authenticates the card. Is this done by a third single entity or managed by different entities like banks? Thanks
This authorization is made via electronics, but passes through the companies that issued the card
