Anyone happy with their Credit Card vendor processing rates that are used?
Being a service provider – I'll keep the more informative and less of an ad. There are two basic pricing models of the payment industry – we know as bucketed or degrees (Qualified, Mid-Qual, Non-Qual) and pass- through (standard payment for real InterChange – Interchange is the fee schedule published the money paid by the acquirer of the transaction to the card issuer – For those of you who do not know – the card issuer receives the bulk of transaction costs. InterChange has approximately 150 categories with specific rates depending on the type of card or type of transaction – thus its rarely understood by a trader, much less a bank). The first model – bucketed / levels – includes two types types presented … Mixed and unmixed (referring to that offline debit cards compared to standard consumption – Blended is a unique type for both, without mixing has a much lower rate for off-line debit cards against the consumer cards). Blended rates tend to be in folder% 1.59 to 1.74% with a corresponding transaction (by and subject) fee of $ 0.20 – $ 0.28. Blended rates are not advantageous because most of the volume / transactions Debit cards are not online. Unmixed rates ranging from 1.14% – 1.28% of debit cards offline, and% 1.69 to 1.81% for Consumer cards. Here again, the transaction (By / Subject) The fees range from $ 0.18 – $ 0.28. My organization provides 1.16% / 1.71%, plus $ 0.20 per item. The bucketed / levels are always cut for certain types of card transaction type combinations (such as key transactions) referred to as a means and not qualified transactions. The second model is the exchange pass-through and usually ranges from 25-45 basis points plus $ .08 to $ .15 per point at the top of the costs of trade. An example Simple is the Visa Debit Card (debit card offline), which is 1.03% + $ 0.15 (this is the exchange rate that is paid to the issuer of the card) in the debit card, plus the dues / fees (that Visa is what really makes) of 9.25 basis points. So add the cost of trade, rights and contributions and passing through the base points costs and charges for the subject … There are many categories regarding the type of card, type of transaction – and the exchange rate would real / expenses / cost of the assessments plus the surcharge.
