What is the most cost-effective phone and the order of e-commerce accounts for electronic commerce?
I am creating a web site to sell products over the next year and know that to have a shopping cart you need a Merchant Account to process Credit Card transactions, Can anyone tell me the best and most cost effective merchant account for a new e-commerce site or Could I rely on pay-pal to cover all my needs. ie I need a merchant account if I have an account and pay-pal? Thanks in advance.
Paypal works well for many companies. We use for both our companies. The only limitation is that it will not accept payment transactions through 650 pounds when the client does not have a Paypal account. One setback NetBanx is used. Their rates are very reasonable and you can start with one count of office with them (it works similar to Paypal) and switch to a Seller after you built a career. I investigate having a merchant account with our bank, but still would have had to have the NetBanx account as well. Duplicate charges seemed worth it. This can not be the case with all banks. I can only speak for Lloyds. Good luck!
