Microsoft Money How to handle Debit Card transactions?
the debit card transactions work exactly like checks. The only difference is that you do not really check the form, but a set of electronic information, digital, ranging from the machine shop cards debit your bank's computer. This mechanical difference is transparent to the money, so when you want to record a debit card transaction, follow the same steps to write a check:
1. Display the appropriate account register.
To display the record for the account you are using to record the debit transaction, click the account name appears in the Favorite Accounts area of the homepage of money. If not see the account in the list, click the link Accounts and bills to display a list of all accounts of money. Then click the account you want.
2. Indicate that you want record a debit card transaction.
As a matter of money you want to register a debit transaction, click the first Retreat
tab in the area entry of the transaction. Then click the New button, select common
list of withdrawals, Debit Card and select Purchase. Money opens input box,
or fields in the entry area of the transactions used to record information about
debit transaction.
3. Provide the reference number and debit cards.
Use the spin box to record the reference number and debit cards. It is also fine to leave this
empty field.
4. Provide the date of the debit transaction.
Date Click to select either pressing the Tab key or clicking the mouse and so
indicating the date of withdrawal. You can type a date using the date format regular or
click the box button to display a pop-up calendar that can be used to select the date.
5. Identify the person you are paying.
Press the Tab key or mouse click to select the payment to the Mail. Then enter the name of the person or company you are paying with the debit transaction. Alternatively, click the Checkout button to frame, so money showing a list of beneficiaries of the past. Then select a name from the list by clicking.
6. Record the debit amount.
Press the Tab key or mouse click to select the Quantity box. Then enter the debit
quantity. Or click the button box Quantity to display a pop-up calculator can be used to calculate and enter the amount of debit.
7. Sort the debit transaction.
To classify the debit transaction, press the tab key or mouse click to select
the Category box. Then click on the Category box, so that Money displays a
list of categories that can be used to describe the reason for the debit transaction. Then, click a category. You can also record a subcategory for the debit transaction. Simply click the tab
key or click the mouse to select the Subcategory box. Then click on this box
for the money back to display a list, this time a list of subcategories. Then click a
subcategory.
8. (Optional) Note the description of letters.
For additional information about the debit transaction, press
Tab key or mouse click to select the Memo box. Then add any other
information you want stored in the field.
9. Register the debit transaction.
Once you have correctly described the debit transaction, click the Enter button. This
