"I can open an online bank account with false information?
There is nothing illegal, but I am only concerned about identity theft and I like giving my information (license, social security number, etc) online business. I was going to open a bank account with a major bank with your request Online. If you use a different name, this. SS #, etc. are things to be okay? That is, the account will be processed and I can use it (mainly the Internet)? Or do they do "Cross references" to verify everything. This is, again, not offense, just anonymous. This is a secondary consideration.

Here's the best part of the Patriot Act: If an institution does not think your actions, do not expect to be told of an investigation. In fact, the law that the person involved in the transaction may not be notified by the financial institution. You could simply be told that your account has been frozen, and did not say why. But you probably would not be in the dark for long. The bank would file a Suspicious Activity Report and the issue would be handled by federal authorities. In other words, enjoy being investigated as a possible criminal or terrorist.
